PENGARUH PERHATIAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN SISWA KELAS XII TEKNIK PEMESINAN DALAM MERAIH STANDAR NILAI UAN TAHUN 2012 DI SMK NEGERI 3 SURABAYA

Abstract

ABSTRAK . Penelitian ini didasari oleh masalah siswa dan pihak sekolah maupun para guru SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya banyak yang merasa tertekan dengan standar nilai ujian akhir nasional ( UAN ) yang ditetapkan pemerintah, serta masih kurangnya perhatian orang tua siswa SMKN Negeri 3 Surabaya dalam persiapan menghadapi ujian akhir nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh perhatian orang tua terhadap keberhasilan siswa kelas XII Teknik Pemesinan dalam meraih standar nilai UAN tahun 2012 di SMKN 3 Surabaya. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012 sebanyak 96 siswa dan akan diambil sebagai sampel sebanyak 75 siswa. Adapun teknik sampling yang akan digunakan adalah proportional random sampling dengan sistem undian. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini akan menggunakan angket tertutup untuk variabel bebas. Uji validitas dengan teknik analisis product moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan alpha cronbach. Uji persyaratan analisis data menggunakan uji linieritas dan normalitas. Pengujian hipotesis akan menggunakan korelasi product moment, sedangkan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel bebas dan terikat secara signifikan menggunakan Uji t dengan taraf signifikan sebesar 5 %. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh atau hubungan yang positif namun tidak signifikan antara perhatian orang tua terhadap keberhasilan siswa kelas XII Teknik Pemesinan dalam meraih standar nilai UAN tahun 2012 di SMKN 3 Surabaya. Hal ini diperoleh dari hasil analisa korelasi product moment dan Uji t dengan sampel orang tua diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,180 dan nilai uji t ( thitung) dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan n = 75, diketahui thitung < ttabel (1,57 < 1,99) serta hasil analisis korelasi product moment dan Uji t dengan sampel siswa diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,144 dan nilai uji t ( thitung) dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan n = 75, diketahui thitung < ttabel (1,21 < 1,99). Terdapat hubungan yang positif namun tidak signifikan dikarenakan dari hasil analisa data diperoleh data sebanyak 2,7% siswa yang mendapat perhatian orang tua rendah berhasil meraih standar nilai UAN tahun 2012 di SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya. ABSTRACT The research was based on the students, school and the teachers problems of SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya that feel pressured with value standart of the national final exams (UAN) that set by the government, and still low concern of parents SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya in preparation for the national final exam . This research aimed to know the effect of parental attention to the success of students of class XII machining techniques to get the value standard of UAN in 2012 at SMKN 3 Surabaya. The population of this research were all students of XII class of machining technique SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya in Lesson 2011/2012 as many as 96 students will be taken as a sample of 75 students. The sampling techniques are used proporstional random sampling with a lottery system. Data collection in this research will use the enclosed questionnaire for the independent variable. The validity test of the product moment analysis techniques and reliability testing using Cronbach alpha. Data analysis requirements test using linearity and normality test. Hypothesis testing will use the product moment correlation, and to know the association between Independent and dependent variables significantly using the t test with significance level of 5%. The results of this research indicate that there is an influence or a positive association but not significant between parental concern to the success of students of XII class of machining techniques to get the value standard of UAN in 2012 at SMKN 3 Surabaya. It is obtained from the product moment correlation analysis and t-test with a sample of parents obtained a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.180 and the value of the t test (t count) with a significance level of 5% and n = 75, known t count < t table (1.57 <1.99) as well as the product moment correlation analysis and student t test with samples of student obtained a correlation coefficients (rxy) of 0.144 and the value of t-test (tcount) with a significance level of 5% and n = 75, known t count < t table (1, 21 <1.99). There is a positive but not significant because of the data analysis of data obtained as much as 2.7% of students who receive low parental concern won a value standard of UAN in 2012 at SMK Negeri 3 Surabaya.
