Abstract

The learning process of gasoline motor practice courses in reality still tends to be conventional, where students still do not understand the conventional fuel system material. In addition, in the learning process of the course. Car Air Filter Paper Press is a trainer tool that can produce sheets of paper into air filters. The purpose of the research is to make a module that can be used as a support for students in carrying out gasoline motor practices.

This study uses a 4-D model development model which has four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop and disseminate, but this module does not use the Disseminate stage. The results of the study resulted in an assessment of 3.5 for material expert lecturers, 3.75 for design experts, and 2.8 for linguists. If the average score is 3.35, it is included in the very feasible category. The response of lecturers and students to the use of this module is reflected in the appearance, presentation and benefits. Judging from the average value of the lecturer's response was 3.5 and the student's response was 3.68  which was included in the very good category. It can be concluded that the Car Air Filter Paper Press module can be used as teaching material to support the gasoline engine practicum course.
