PENERAPAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA MATA PELAJARAN TEKNOLOGI DASAR OTOMOTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETUNTASAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X DI SMK RADEN PATAH KOTA MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Conventional learning that is applied at Raden Patah Vocational School, Mojokerto City which is based on the teacher center, includes learning that is less effective, this is what makes students bored and bored during learning activities. The application of learning recommended in the 2013 curriculum is one of them using problem based learning which can lead students to observe problems and solve problems. The purpose of this research is to analyze the improvement of students' learning results in applying problem based learning model learning. This type of research will be carried out using a form of classroom action research is used to improve the quality of student learning by observing the process of teaching and learning activities that take place in solving problems and providing continuous action to get good results. The application of this learning model will follow the syntax of problem based learning. While the research model uses a class action research from Kurt Lewin. The results of the application of learning using a problem based learning model at Raden Patah Vocational School, Mojokerto City, class X TKR 1 on the workings of a 2 stroke and 4 step combustion engine, the results of student learning completeness in class X TKR 1 obtained an average grade of 79 with the number of students completed 17 students from a total of 20 students with a percentage of class completeness of 85% which is included in the very good criteria.
