PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN VERNIER CALIPER BERBASIS ANDROID TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DAN RESPON SISWA SMK

Abstract

The learning process in Krian 2 Sidoarjo Vocational High School in class X, majoring in automotive with the major in Motorcycle Business Engineering is carried out using techniques and lecture methods that use learning media in the form of whiteboards and student worksheets/worksheets. So that causes student interest in the learning process to be low. This results in low comprehension and understanding of the material by students. The solution that can be used by educators to solve it is the use of media that has clear visual images, so that the learning process can be optimized again. The use of media with clear visual images can also attract students' focus on the material provided by the teacher during the lesson. This research was carried out in order to find out the difference between conventional teaching and learning processes and the influence of Android-based vernier caliper learning media on learning outcomes and student responses. This research uses the quantitative method of Control Group Design or nonequivalent Control Group Design or it can be called an unequal group design. The results of the T test from this study show that the calculated T value is greater than T table (5.921> 2.037) so that the Ha2 hypothesis says there is an influence on android-based vernier caliper learning media on student learning outcomes received with a large influence of 49.5%.
