Education is an organized effort to create a learning atmosphere and process that aims to enable students to effectively develop their true capacities. In the learning process, implementing a fluctuating and interesting learning model can prevent students from feeling tired and make the learning atmosphere enjoyable. The aim of this research is to analyze interest in learning and improve student learning outcomes in class XI lathe subjects. This type of qualitative research applies observational data collection techniques and tests using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) methodology. The data collected was then analyzed descriptively. The results of student interest in learning obtained a percentage of 67% with good criteria. The percentage of student learning gains was 91%. The results of the study using the N-Gain test, the implementation of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model, can increase student learning outcomes in the quite effective category.
