Abstract

The reason of this research is to find out how interested students in the Mechanical Engineering education Bachelor program are in persevering with their careers as teachers, and what factors impact interest in becoming a teacher. Using quantitative descriptive research methods. on this research, the samples had been students from the 2017, 2018 and 2019, studies program Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Education, both folks that had been nevertheless lively college students and people who had graduated, with a complete sample of forty four college students. The effects received confirmed that the interest of undergraduate college students in the Mechanical Engineering schooling take a look at software became in the involved category with a percent of 74.62%, and the elements that affect interest in becoming a teacher include 3 aspects, particularly the cognition, emotion and conation elements with a score from the cognition (knowing) element of 882 from a maximum score of 1056, the emotional (feeling) aspect of 982 from a maximum score of 1232, and the Conation aspect ( will) of 1288 from a maximum score of 1936.
