DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTUBE LEARNING MEDIA FOR LEARNING OUTCOMES OF WHEEL DRIVE SHAFT MAINTENANCE AT SMKN 7 SURABAYA

The development of information and communication technology has brought great changes to the progress of education. Therefore, a study was conducted that aims to determine the feasibility of learning media and determine the differences in student learning outcomes after using YouTube learning media on the learning outcomes of wheel drive shaft maintenance at SMKN 7 Surabaya. The type of research used is R&D using the pre-test post-test group design research design. The subjects of this study were students in class XI TKR 1 as the experimental class and XI TKR 2 as the control class majoring in Automotive Engineering at SMKN 7 Surabaya who took the Maintenance of Chassis and Light Vehicle Power Transfer subject on the learning outcome of the Wheel Drive Shaft Maintenance system.. Testing differences in learning outcomes using the T-test and the effectiveness of learning media using N-Gain testing. The results of the study are the results of the feasibility of learning media by media experts, question experts, lesson plan experts, and questionnaire experts, which obtained an average of 4.30, which means “good." The difference in learning outcomes tested for normality obtained a significance > 0.05, which means normal distribution, and the T-test obtained a significance value of 0.000, so that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. The results of the N-Gain test to determine the effectiveness of YouTube learning media obtained a mean of 56.7446, including the medium criteria.
