THE EFFECT OF WEB-BASED WORDWALL LEARNING MEDIA ON STUDENT INTEREST AND LEARNING OUTCOMES IN BASIC AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING COURSES AT SMKN 1 SIDOARJO

Low student interest and learning outcomes are among the problems in the learning process at SMKN 1 Sidoarjo. The Web-based Wordwall learning media was designed as an effort to create interesting learning and encourage increased interest and learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of Wordwall on student interest and learning outcomes at SMKN 1 Sidoarjo. This research uses a quantitative method with an experimental design. This research was conducted using One-Group Pretest-Posttest with a subject of class X TKR 1 as an experiment. Data were collected through questionnaires distribution, observations, pre-test post-test, and documentation. Data analysis included validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis percentage, descriptive analysis statistic, normality test, homogeneity test, and T-test This study shows that the implementation of learning using Web-based Wordwall media was carried out optimally with an implementation rate of 94.7%. There was a significant effect on students' interest in learning, with an increase in scores from 55.42 to 70.75. There was also a significant effect on student learning outcomes, with an increase in scores from 63.78 to 82.78.
