This research is based on observations during the Introduction to the School Environment (PLP) program at SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, which indicated that students’ non-technical skills had not been optimally developed. This condition was reflected in students’ tendency to carry out practical activities only by following instructions, without actively attempting to solve problems. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of implementing Problem Based Learning (PBL) teaching modules integrated with Employability Skills, which include Communication, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Time Management, and Occupational Health and Safety (K3). The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. A total of 65 students were selected as research subjects through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U Test assisted by SPSS. The results of the Mann-Whitney U Test showed a significance value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that PBL modules integrated with employability skills were significantly more effective in improving students’ non-technical skills compared to learning that was not integrated with employability skills. The findings demonstrate that the application of PBL teaching modules integrated with employability skills has a significant impact on enhancing students’ employability skills, particularly in Communication, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Time Management, and K3 aspects in Light Vehicle Electrical learning for the TKR 1 class. Therefore, this learning model is considered suitable for developing students’ soft skills required in the workplace. Future research is recommended to expand employability skill variables, increase research subjects, and conduct longitudinal studies.
