Abstract

Education is important for humans to acquire knowledge and  perspective. The development of science and technology gives birth to an education system that is oriented to electronic media, especially learning videos, which are useful for improving student activities and learning outcomes. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Peter Fenrich model. The research object is a Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) learning video for students class XI Welding Engineering of SMK Semen Gresik (sample used by 11 students of SMK XI Semen Gresik, even semester 2025/2026). The validation result shows an average video feasibility of 3,77 (94,25%; very decent). Learning achievement (KKM): pre-test 27%, post-test 100%. N-gain test 0.565 (medium category). The conclusion from the use of effective learning videos increases the activities and learning outcomes of XI SMK Semen Gresik students
