Problem solving skills are important for students to have, especially at the vocational education level. One method that can be used to improve these skills is Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This study analyzes the effect of the problem-based learning (PBL) method on problem-solving skills and analyzes students' responses to the implementation of problem-based learning (PBL). The research design was a quantitative pre-experiment one group pretest posttest on 20 selected students from a population of 36 students. The test data were analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank with a result of Z = -3.313 and an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001, indicating that there was a significant effect on the use of the PBL learning model. The questionnaire data showed a total score of 531 out of a maximum score of 640, with a percentage score of 82.97%, which is classified as very good
