PENERAPAN ICE BREAKING PADA PROSES BELAJAR MENGAJAR SISWA KELAS X TPM SMK NEGERI 7 SURABAYA PADA MATA PELAJARAN K3 (KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA)

Abstract

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hasil belajar siswa dan respon siswa terhadap
penerapan ice breaking pada mata pelajaran K3 (Keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja).
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TPM
SMK N 7 Surabaya dan obyek penelitian adalah proses belajar mengajar dengan menerapkan ice
breaking pada mata pelajaran K3, instrumen penelitian berupa angket respon siswa dan soal tes (pre test
dan post test), metode tes digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dan metode angket digunakan
untuk mengetahui respon siswa selama mengikuti proses belajar mengajar.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:1) hasil belajar siswa setelah di terapkanya ice breaking
mengalami peningkatan, dimana hasil pre test adalah 11,42% dan post tes 97,14%, dengan demikian KK
dari pre test ke post test mengalami peningkatan sebesar 85,72%. Hasil KK dari post test apabila di
sesuaikan dengan pedoman ketuntasan klasikal (KK) di SMKN 7 Surabaya, yaitu dengan ketentuan ≥
80% dengan demikian hasil belajar siswa kelas X TPM SMKN 7 Surabaya dengan penerapan ice
breaking dinyatakan tuntas dengan persentase KK sebesar 97,14%. 2) nilai rata rata jawaban respon
siswa kelas X TPM SMKN 7 Surabaya, jumlah siswa yang memilih jawaban sangat setuju (SS) yaitu
44,7%, setuju (S) 43,9% dan netral (N) 11,4% siswa dengan demikian penerapan ice breaking pada mata
pelajaran K3 mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to identify student learning outcomes and students response to the application
of ice breaking on the subjects of K3 (Occupational Safety and Health work).
This research is action research, the research subjects were students of class X TPM SMK N 7
Surabaya and the object of research is the process of teaching and learning by applying ice breaking on
K3 subjects, research instruments such as questionnaires and students' responses about the test (pre-test
and post test), the test method is used to determine student learning outcomes and questionnaire methode
used to determine the response of the students during the learning process.
The results showed that: 1) student learning outcomes after application increased ice breaking, in
which the pre-test was 11.42% and 97.14% post-test, so families from pre-test to post-test increased by
85.72 %. The results of the post test KK when adjusted by classical completeness guidelines (KK) in
SMKN 7 Surabaya, that the provisions of ≥ 80% according to a study by the students of class X TPM
SMKN 7 Surabaya with ice breaking application expressed finished with a percentage of 97.14 KK %. 2)
the average value of a class X student response answers TPM SMKN 7 Surabaya, the number of students
who chose the answer strongly agree (SS) is 44.7%, agreed (S) 43.9%, and neutral (N) 11.4% of students
