Abstract

The limited availability of practical equipment for pneumatic and electropneumatic learning remains a major challenge in improving the competency of vocational education students. This study aims to design and develop a portable suitcase-type electropneumatic training kit as an instructional medium to support effective hands-on learning activities. The research methodology consisted of conceptual design using Autodesk Inventor software, component selection, manufacturing, assembly, and functional testing of the developed system. The training kit comprises a compressor unit, directional control valves, pneumatic actuators, and an integrated electrical control circuit. The testing results demonstrate that the developed training kit performs effectively and enables students to design, assemble, and operate electropneumatic circuits in real time. Its portable design also provides greater flexibility for use in various laboratory environments and training activities. The proposed training kit is expected to serve as an effective, cost-efficient, and practical learning medium for enhancing students' competency in pneumatic systems.
