Abstract

This study was motivated by the need for instructional media to help students understand the material and operating procedures for the Krisbow CKE6130i CNC Turning machine during practical CNC training in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program at the State University of Surabaya. The study aimed to develop and assess the feasibility of an instructional video for the Krisbow CKE6130i CNC Turning machine. A Research and Development (R&D) method was employed using the ADDIE model, which comprises Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study involved 10 student participants. Data were collected through media expert validation, student response questionnaires, and assessments of practical work results. The video was uploaded to YouTube and made accessible via a QR code in an e-module. The results showed a media expert validation score of 93% (categorized as highly feasible), a student response score of 90% (categorized as excellent), and an average practical work score of 82.4. The Krisbow CKE6130i CNC Turning instructional video was deemed suitable for use as a supporting medium for practical CNC instruction.
