Abstract

Abstrak Pemanfaatan limbah kulit siwalan sebagai aksesoris bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat konsumen terhadap desain aksesoris dan mengetahui kriteria desain pengembangan aksesoris 9 kalung dari limbah kulit siwalan yang paling diminati oleh konsumen ditinjau dari unsur dan prinsip desain berdasarkan survey. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan perhitungan persentase. Hasil penelitian minat konsumen terhadap desain aksesoris kaung dari limbah kulit siwalan adalah 1) Usia 13-15 Tahun, unsur bentuk lingkaran sangat suka 80%, suka 20%, unsur warna kontras sangat suka 80%,suka 10%, unsur ukuran 70 cm sangat suka 70, suka 30%, prinsip irama bentuk persegi, warna kontras, dan ukuran 70 cm sangat suka 90%, suka 10%, bentuk oval, warna kontras, dan ukuran 70 cm sangat suka 80%, suka 20, bentuk lingkaran, warna netral, dan ukuran 50 cm sangat suka 30%, suka 70%,. 2) Usia 16-18 Tahun, bentuk persegi sangat suka 20%, suka 70%, warna netral sangat suka 30%, suka 50%, ukuran 60 cm sangat suka 20%, suka 70%, prinsip irama bentuk persegi, warna netral, dan ukuran 50 cm sangat suka 50%, suka 50%, bentuk oval, warna netral, dan ukuran 50 cm sangat suka 40%, suka 60%, bentuk lingkaran, warna netral, dan ukuran 50 cm sangat suka 30%, suka 60%. 3) Usia 19 – 21 Tahun, bentuk oval sangat suka 50%, suka 50%, warna netral sangat suka 10%, suka 60%, ukuran 70 cm dengan persentase sangat suka 10%, suka 70%, prinsip irama bentuk persegi, warna nuans, dan ukuran 60 cm sangat suka 10%, suka 60%, bentuk oval, warna nuans, dan ukuran 60 cm sangat suka 0%, suka 70%, bentuk lingkaran, warna netral, dan ukuran 50 cm sangat suka 20%, suka 60%. Desain aksesoris kalung dari limbah kulit siwalan yang paling diminati adalah usia 13-15 bentuk oval, warna kontras, dan ukuran kalung 70 cm dengan persentase 50%. Usia 16-18 tahun bentuk persegi, warna netral, dan ukuran kalung 50 cm dengan persentase 40%. Usia 19-21 tahun bentuk persegi, warna nuans, dan ukuran kalung 60 cm dengan persentase 30%. Abstract Utilization of palm shell waste as accessories aims to determine consumer interest towards design necklace of palm shell waste in terms of the elements and principles of design, and determine design necklace of leather waste siwalan most in demand by consumers. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative methods. Research instrument used was a questionnaire or a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique used is the technique of data analysis using quantitative descriptive percentage calculations.
