KONSTRUKSI SOSIAL MAHASISWA FIS UNESA TENTANG KORUPSI DAN KOMISI PEMBERANTASAN KORUPSI (KPK)

Penulisan jurnal ini berawal dari ketertarikan terhadap maraknya pemberitaan pemberantasan korupsi oleh KPK di media massa. Realitas sosial tentang hal tersebut dapat membentuk konstruksi sosial pada masyarakat, khususnya mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah  kualitatif. Dalam hal ini penelitian mendeskripsikan konstruksi sosial mahasiswa tentang pemberitaan pemberantasan korupsi oleh KPK berdasarkan fakta-fakta di lapangan yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi di lokasi penelitian. Teknik analisis data  yang diterapkan diantaranya adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil temuan  menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa aktivis kampus cenderung terkonstruksi oleh pemberitaan pemberantasan korupsi oleh KPK di media massa. Mahasiswa percaya dengan pemberitaan pemberantasan korupsi oleh KPK. Vonis hukuman yang dijatuhkan kepada tersangka korupsi dianggap belum ideal. Selain merujuk pada pemberitaan di media massa, mahasiswa aktivis kampus dan non-kampus juga memiliki idealisme dan pengkajian tentang korupsi. Berbeda dengan konstruksi sosial mahasiswa nonaktivis yang hanya merujuk pada pemberitaan di media massa.

Abstract

This journal writing begins with a study of the rise of interest in the eradication of corruption by the Commission reports in the media. Social reality of it can form a social construction in the community, especially students. This research method used descriptive qualitative. In this case study describes students' social construction of combating corruption reports by the Commission based on the facts on the ground were collected through interviews and documentation in the study area. Data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. This results show that students tend to be constructed by the campus activists fighting corruption reports by the Commission in the media. Students believe the news eradication of corruption by the Commission. Sentence meted out to suspected corruption is considered not ideal. In addition to referring to the media coverage, student activists and non-college campus also has ideals and assessment of corruption. In contrast to the social construction of non-activist students who only refers to the media coverage.
