PEMENTASAN DRAMA OPERET DALAM MENSTIMULASI KETERAMPILAN BERBAHASA ANAK USIA DINI DI TK DUNIA SUZAN TEGALSARI SURABAYA

Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pementasan drama operet dalam menstimulasi keterampilan berbahasa anak usia dini sehingga dapat diketahui seperti apa perencanaan, proses latihan, dan proses pelaksanaan dalam pementasan drama operet. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak anak, guru, dan kepala sekolah di TK Dunia Suzan Tegalsari Surabaya. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles and Huberman, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pementasan drama operet tersebut memunyai tiga tahapan yakni pertama perencanaan drama operet. Perencanaan tersebut meliputi pembuatan naskah, casting pemain, perekaman suara pemain dan mengolah musik pementasan. Kedua, proses latihan pementasan drama operet meliputi pemanasan yang dilakukan oleh anak (olah tubuh, olah vokal dan ekspresi), pendahuluan (penyajian cerita dan rencana aksi), Running (pendalaman peran, blocking, dramatisasi, penutup dan evaluasi (pendinginan)), terakhir gladiresik. Ketiga, proses pelaksanaan pementasan drama operet meliputi dua unsur yakni, pelaku pementasan dan unsur-unsur pementasan. Pelaku pementasan meliputi penulis naskah, sutradara, narator, pemain, penata artistik, penata rias. Untuk unsur-unsur pementasan yakni tata panggung, tata suara, tata lampu, penonton. Keseluruhan proses tersebut dapat menstimulasi keterampilan berbahasa anak usia dini terutama menyimak dan berbicara.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study aims to portray operative drama in stimulating early childhood language skills so that it can be known as to what planning, training processes, and implementation processes in the performance of operetta plays. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were children, teachers, and principals at the Dunia Suzan Kindergarten in Tegalsari Surabaya. Data analysis in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.

The results of the study indicate that the process of staging the operetta has three stages, namely the first planning of the operetta drama. These plans include making scripts, casting players, recording sound players and processing music performances. Second, the operative staging process includes warming up carried out by children (body work, vocal and expression), introduction (presentation of stories and action plans), Running (deepening of roles, blocking, dramatization, closing and evaluation (cooling)), finally dress rehearsal. Third, the process of carrying out operetta plays includes two elements, namely, actors of performances and elements of performance. Performers include script writers, directors, narrators, players, artistic organizers, makeup artists. For the performance elements, namely stage, sound system, lighting system, audience. The entire process can stimulate early childhood language skills, especially listening and speaking.
