MENINGKATKAN KEDISIPLINAN ANAK KELOMPOK CERDAS DI PAUD AL AMIN MELALUI METODE LATIHAN

Abstract

Penelitian pada  kelompok cerdas di PAUD Al Amin, di latar belakangi  oleh adanya kecenderungan anak yang tidak berperilaku disiplin khususnya dalam  kegiatan berbaris di depan  kelas, meletakkan sepatu di rak sepatu, duduk melingkar ketika circle time, duduk dikursi, mengambil dan  mengembalikan alat ke loker masing-masing, dan membuang sampah di keranjang sampah. Di PAUD Al Amin metode latihan belum pernah di terapkan secara terencana, oleh sebab itu peneliti  menggunakan metode latihan untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan  anak kelompok cerdas di PAUD Al Amin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kedisiplinan anak kelompok cerdas di PAUD Al Amin dapat ditingkatkan, melalui metode latihan.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok  cerdas PAUD Al amin, yang  berjumlah 15 anak, terdiri dari 8 anak laki-laki dan 7 anak  perempuan. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah observasi dan dokumentasi, sedangkan tehnik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif.

Berdasarkan hasil data penelitian pada siklus I persentase aktivitas anak dalam berperilaku disiplin mencapai 70%. Hal ini menunjukkan penelitian ini belum berhasil karena belum mencapai kriteria keberhasilan yaitu 80%, maka penelitian ini berlanjut pada siklus II. Pada siklus II di peroleh data kemampuan disiplin anak sebesar  91%. Berdasarkan hasil dari Analisis data siklus II maka penelitian ini di nyatakan berhasil dan dapat di simpulkan bahwa melalui metode latihan dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan anak kelompok cerdas di PAUD Al amin.

Abstract

The study was conducted to KelompokCerdas in PAUD Al Amin and was motivated by the indication that children of the group mentioned before had a tendency to show indiscipline behavior, especially in queuing in front of the class, putting their shoes on the shoe rack, forming a circular sitting formation during the “circle time”, sitting on their chairs, retrieving and returning their stationeries to their lockers, and throwing the thrash in the dustbin. The drill and practice method has yet to be implemented in a planned manner at PAUD Al Amin, hence the reason why the researcher proposed to implement the method to improve the children’s discipline at Kelompok Cerdas PAUD Al Amin. In line with the previous explanation, the aim of the study is to investigate whether the discipline of children at KelompokCerdas PAUD Al Amin can be improved through the implementation of drill and practice method.

The design of the study is classroom action research which is implemented in cycles. Each cycle consists of: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting stages. Moreover, the subjects of the study were 15 children, 8 boys and 7 girls, of KelompokCerdas PAUD Al Amin.  The data was collected through observation and documentation techniques. The collected data was then analyzed by using the descriptive statistics.

From the result of the data analysis done on data gathered in cycle I, the percentage of children’s discipline behavior reached 70%. This shows that the study has yet to reach its success criteria of 80%, therefore, the study was continued to cycle II. In this cycle, the children’s discipline was marked 91%. Hence, it can be concluded that the study managed to meet its purpose. The study also proves that the drill and practice method can actually improve the children’s discipline at KelompokCerdas of PAUD Al Amin.
