MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF DALAM PENGENALAN KONSEP WARNA MELALUI MEDIA AUDIO LAGU-LAGU DI KB. AISYIYAH SANG SURYA KECAMATAN GEDEG KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Salah satu bidang pengembangan di KB adalah bidang pengembangan kognitif. Pada usia 3-4 tahun anak memahami macam-macam warna dan memiliki kemudahan dalam mengeksplorasinya melalui benda-benda yang ada disekitarnya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di KB Aisyiyah Sang surya Kecamatan Gedeg Kabupaten Mojokerto ditemukan bahwa kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal konsep warna belum berkembang sesuai harapan, hal ini disebabkan oleh karena guru cenderung mengabaikan penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga anak mengalami kesulitan untuk memahami konsep warna. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut salah satu cara yang digunakan dalam mengenalkan konsep warna kepada anak adalah menggunakan media audio lagu. Media audio lagu dalam pelaksanaannya sebagai salah satu cara untuk membantu dalam pengenalan konsep warna dengan cepat dan mudah pada anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan tingkat efektivitas pengenalan konsep warna menggunakan media audio lagu-lagu pada anak KB di Aisyiyah Sang Surya.  Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas 2 siklus. Setiap siklusnya terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak Kelompok Bermain Aisyiyah Sang Surya Kecamatan Gedeg Kabupaten Mojokerto yang berjumlah 22 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan statistik deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa pengenalan konsep warna anak sebesar 67,61%, hasil penelitian ini belum sesuai dengan kriteria tingkat pencapaian perkembangan anak, maka penelitian ini dilanjutkan pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian pada siklus II menunjukkan bahwa Pengenalan konsep warna pada anak mengalami peningkatan menjadi 78,40%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media audio lagu-lagu dapat meningkatkan pengenalan konsep warna pada Kelompok Bermain Aisyiyah Sang Surya Kecamatan Gedeg Kabupaten Mojokerto.

ABSTRACT

One area of development in the field of cognitive development is the KB. At the age of 3-4 years old children understand various colors and have easy access to explore it through the objects around it. Based on observations in the solar Aisyiyah KB Gedeg District of Mojokerto found that the cognitive abilities of children in the concept of color has not developed as expected, it is caused by the teachers tend to neglect the use of media in the learning process, so that children have difficulty understanding the concept of color. Based on these problems one way that is used to introduce the concept of color to the child is using the media audio track. Media audio track in practice as one way to assist in the introduction of the concept of color quickly and easily in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the activity and the level of effectiveness of the concept of color recognition using audio media on children's songs Aisyiyah KB in the Sun.  This study uses action research consisting of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were children of the Sun Play Group Aisyiyah Mojokerto District of Gedeg totaling 22 children. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. While the analysis of the data using descriptive statistics.  The results of the study in the first cycle shows that the introduction of the concept of children of color by 67.61%, the results of this study does not meet the criteria for the achievement levels of child development, this research continued on the second cycle. Results for the second cycle showed that the introduction of the concept of color in children increased to 78.40%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the use of audio media songs can increase the introduction of the concept of color in the Sun Play Group Aisyiyah Gedeg District of Mojokerto
