PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MELATIH KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL DAN AKADEMIK SISWA SMP

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, keterampilan sosial, keterampilan akademik, dan respon siswa pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-Experimental dengan desain One Shot Case Study dengan subyek penelitian 31 siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Babat. Data keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan keterampilan sosial diperoleh ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung, sedangkan keterampilan akademik dan respon siswa diperoleh setelah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran ko operatif tipe STAD telah terlaksana sesuai sintaks (100%), keterampilan sosial siswa sebesar 98,96% yang terdiri atas keterampilan kerjasama (29,67%) dan keterampilan komunikasi (69,29%), keterampilan akademik siswa yang dilihat dari ketuntasan hasil belajar akademik sebesar 61,29% dan hampir seluruh siswa (94,00%) memberikan respon positif pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD.

Abstract
The aims of this research are to describe the implementation of learning, social skill, academic skill, and student’s responses to the implementation of cooperative learning model in STAD type. This research is a Pre-Experimental research with One Shot Case Study design whose subject is 31 students of SMP Negeri 1 Babat at VIII grade in B class. Data of the implementation of learning and social skill is retrieved when learning process occurs, while data of academic skill and student’s responses is retrieved after cooperative learning model in STAD type is implemented. The result of this research shows that the cooperative learning model in STAD type was proper with the step (100%), student’s social skill percentage is 98.96%, that consists of the collaboration skill (29.67%) and communication skill (69.29%), student’s academic skill which is seen from the academic achievement percentage is 61.29%, and almost all of the students (94.00%) give positive responses to the implementation of cooperative learning model in STAD type.
