Author Guidelines

GUIDELINES FOR ARTICLES WRITING FOR SCIENCE EDUCATIONAL JOURNALS (E-PENSA)

 

  1. Science education publishes research articles or scientific studies of science education that contribute to the understanding, development of scientific theories and concepts, and the application of science education in Indonesia.
  2. Articles must be original, have not been published in other journals or other media. Articles that have been presented in a forum, such as seminars, should be mentioned forum.
  3. Scriptwriting using Indonesian or English correctly. Script length between 8-12 pages, A4 size paper, typed 1.5 space, Microsoft Windows Word program , Times New Roman font type , 12 size font .
  4. Articles are written with the following systematics and conditions.

(A)    Title : written briefly, maximum of 13 words, and should reflect the substance of the Science Education reviewed in the article.

(B)   Author's Name : written without a title, located under the title; Authors can be individuals or teams with all authors listed.

(C)    Agency and Email Address : written down the name of the institution from which the author originated, the address, the e-mail, which is located under the author's name.

(D)   Abstract : written in English and in lengths ranging from 150-200 words. The article abstract consists of one paragraph: the scientific review article consists of substantial issues and core discussions, while the research articles consist of goals, methods, and results. Abstract is written with a single spacing of font 12.

(E)    Keywords : filled with words or terms that reflect the essence of the concept within the scope of the problem, may consist of several words / terms. The keywords are written underneath the abstract with a single line spacing and are in bold-bold .

(F)    Bodies Articles : (i) Articles of scientific study consisting of an introduction containing problems and a frame of mind or analytical framework, sub-subtitles containing the discussion, and conclusions. (Ii) Research articles consist of introductions containing backgrounds, methods, outcomes, discussions and concluding remarks.

(g)   Bibliography : cultivated from primary sources, and just acknowledgment of the source referred to in the article body. Instead, the names referenced in the body should be in the bibliography. The second line goes to the right of 5 letters. Here are some examples of writing a bibliography of several source types.

-       Journal : author name, year, article title (between two quotes), journal name ( italic ), volume, number, and page as follows.

Dadan Rosana, 2009. Development of Quality Culture through the Implementation of ISO 9001: 2000 in UNY. Science Education, XXVIII (3), 296-307.

-   Book : author's name (if more than one word, last name is an entry), year, book title ( italic ), publisher city, and publisher, as follows.

Fullan, MG 1991. The New Meaning of Educational Change . London: Cassell Educational Lt.

- Books consisting of several articles, written as follows.

Winch, C. 2006. Graduate Attributes and Changing Conceptions of Learning in Hager, P. & Holland, S., Graduate Attributes, Learning and Employability, h 67-90. Dordrecht: Springer.

- Internet: author, year, article title, website address, and download date.

  1. How to refer authors in body of article should mention the author's name, year, and page. Example: (Mitchel, 2008: 53), or Mitchel (2012: 53). Direct referrals (without changing anything), typed one spacing jutted right 7 taps, left and right flat.
  2. Articles sent to the Office of Science Education Program, Faculty, Unesa two (2) copies and articles in soft copy sent via email to: pensa@unesa.ac.id ,, wahonow@gmail.com , erman@gmail.com , beautiful @ Gmail.com , beni_sains@unesa.ac.id or hasan_sains@unesa.ac.id .
  3. The articles that go to the editorial table are selected by an expert editor or a bestari partner. Articles may be accepted without repairs, received by repair, or rejected, and rejected articles are not returned to the author.

    Statement Copyright and Permissions

    In order to be accepted and published by Pensa E-Jurnal : Pendidikan Sains, author(s) submitting the article manuscript should complete all the review stages. By submitting the manuscript the author(s) agreed to these following terms:

    1. The copyright of accepted articles shall be assigned to Pensa E-Jurnal : Pendidikan Sains. 

    2. Authors are permitted to disseminate published article by sharing the link/DOI of the article at Pensa E-Jurnal : Pendidikan Sains. authors are allowed to use their articles for any legal purposes deemed necessary without written permission from Pensa E-Jurnal : Pendidikan Sains with an acknowledgement of initial publication to this journal.
