PENERAPAN LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA TEMA ENERGI ALTERNATIF UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES PADA SISWA KELAS VIII-A SMP YPP NURUK HUDA SURABAYA

Penelitian tentang penerapan LKS tema Energi Alternatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil keterampilan proses, hasil belajar kognitif, dan respon siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan rancangan “One Shot Case Study” dan analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP YPP Nurul Huda Surabaya Semester II tahun ajaran 2012/2013 yang terdiri dari tiga kelas. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-A. Berdasarkan hasil tes keterampilan proses yang dilakukan diperoleh rata-rata nilai kelas adalah 76 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 73,08% dengan nilai terendah 52 dan nilai tertinggi 95. Ketuntasan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dari hasil tes diperoleh rata-rata nilai kelas 75,69 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 73,08% dengan nilai terendah 53 dan nilai tertinggi 95. Berdasarkan analisis hasil korelasi regresi bahwa nilai keterampilan proses mempunyai korelasi positif dengan hasil belajar kognitif, yang dilihat dari indeks determinasi r²=0,823 atau sebesar 82,3%, yang mempunyai arti bahwa rata-rata nilai hasil belajar kognitif siswa ditentukan oleh keterampilan proses melalui persamaan Ŷ = 18,857 + 0,748X.  Respon siswa terhadap penerapan LKS pada tema energi alternatif sangat baik dengan persentase 91,63% merespon positif sesuai harapan peneliti. Dari hasil tes keterampilan proses, hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan respon siswa, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan LKS tema energi alternatif untuk melatihkan  keterampilan proses pada siswa kelas VIII-A SMP YPP Nurul Huda Surabaya berhasil dengan baik.

Abstract

Research on the application of student worksheet theme Alternative Energy purpose to describe the results of process skills, cognitive learning outcomes, and student responses. The research was carried out with the draft "One Shot Case Study" and be quantitatif descriptive analysis. The reseach population was all students in class VIII SMP YPP Surabaya Nurul Huda second semester of the school year 2012/2013 which consists of three classes. The sample used in this study is a class VIII-A. Based on the results of tests conducted process skills gained an average class score was 76 with classical completeness of 73.08% with the lowest value 52 and highest value 95. Cognitive mastery learning outcomes of students from the test results obtained by the average value of class 75.69 with classical completeness of 73.08% with the lowest value 53 and highest value95. Based on regression analysis of the correlation results that the value of the skills have a positive correlation with cognitive learning outcomes, as seen from the index of determination of r2 = 0.823 or 82.3%, which means that the average value of the result is determined by the student's cognitive learning skills through the process of equation Ŷ = 18.857 + 0.748 X. Students' response to the application student worksheets of on the theme Alternative Energy very well with the percentage of 91.63% responded positively as expected researchers. From the results of the test process skills, cognitive learning outcomes of students and students' responses, it can be concluded that the application of alternative energy theme LKS melatihkan process skills for students of class VIII-A SMP YPP Nurul Huda Surabaya successful.
