PENGARUH PENERAPAN STRATEGI PETA PIKIRAN (MIND MAPPING) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA TERPADU TEMA ES LILIN SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 4 JOMBANG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi peta pikiran terhadap hasil belajar siswa IPA Terpadu Tema Es Lilin. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan Control Group Pre-test Post-test. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Jombang dan sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas eksperimen (VIII-C) dan kelas kontrol (VIII-H). Berdasarkan perhitungan uji t satu pihak didapatkan thitung sebesar 1,74 dan ttabel sebesar 1,68. Ini menunjukkan nilai  thitung>ttabel sehingaa terdapat pengaruh penerapan strategi peta pikiran yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa IPA Terpadu tema es lilin. Hasil analisis regresi linier diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,72. Kontribusi peta pikiran siswa terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 51,8%. Dengan demikian penerapan strategi peta pikiran berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa IPA Terpadu tema Es Lilin kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Jombang.

Abstract

The purpose of this observation is to know the influence of mind mapping’s implementation with student learning outcome in integrated science with Lilin Ice theme. The design of this observation is Control Group Pre-test Post-test. The population was the entire class VIII SMPN 4 Jombang and the sample consist of two class, one class as an experimental class (VIII-C) and another class as a control class (VIII-H). Based on the calculation with one side-t test, tcount got 1,74 and ttable got 1,68.That is known that tcount>ttabel so there is an influence with mind mapping’s implementation to the student learning outcome in integrated science with Lilin Ice Theme. And the degree of correlation was analyzed with correlation analysis and got correlation coefisien (r) was 0,72. The contribution of mind mapping to student learning outcome was 51,8%. So that the implementation of mind mapping strategy has positive influence on student learning outcomes in integrated science with the theme Lilin Ice in class VIII SMPN 4 Jombang.
