PT. Varia Usaha Beton merupakan perusahaan yang memiliki misi bahwa kepuasan pelanggan menjadi prioritas utama. Namun dalam proses produksinya tidak terlepas dari produk cacat. Oleh karena itu, pengendalian kualitas sangat diperlukan di perusahaan ini.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi kualitas tiang pancang PT. Varia Usaha Beton berdasarkan level sigma, mengevaluasi faktor penyebab angka kecacatan selama proses produksi, dan menentukan upaya untuk menekan angka kecacatan produk berdasarkan analisis Six Sigma DMAIC. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi lapangan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan level sigma pengendalian kualitas tiang pancang pada proses produksi di PT. Varia Usaha Beton mencapai nilai 3.74 sigma. Jenis cacat terbesar berupa gupil (47.06%), keropos (31.37%), patah (9.8%), retak (5.88%), dan ukuran (5.88%). Faktor penyebab cacat produk meliputi: faktor tenaga kerja, bahan baku, mesin, metode, dan lingkungan. Upaya perbaikan yang harus dilakukan meliputi: Seleksi dan pelatihan tenaga kerja, serta peningkatan pengawasan kinerja tenaga kerja. Melakukan pengawasan dan pengecekan lebih optimal terhadap mutu bahan baku, tempat penyimpanan, dan prosedur penyimpanan. Inovasi teknologi cetakan dan mesin produksi, serta memperhatikan kebersihannya. Perbaikan SOP/standar operational procedur dan checklist. Serta perbaikan tempat produksi.

Abstract

PT. Varia Usaha Beton is a company has a mission that customer satisfaction is a main priority. But in production can not be separated from defect products. Therefore, quality control is needed in this company.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality of minipile at PT. Varia Usaha Beton based on sigma level, evaluates factors causing disability during production, and determines efforts to reduce product defect based on Six Sigma DMAIC analysis. The research method used is descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation.

The results showed the level of sigma quality control of minipile on the production at PT. Varia Usaha Beton reaches 3.74 sigma. The biggest defects were rupture (fall apart) (47.06%), porous (31.37%), broken (9.8%), cracked (5.88%), and size (5.88%). Factors that cause defective products include: labor factors, raw materials, machinery, methods, and environment. Improvements to be undertaken include: Selection and training of workers, as well as improved supervision of labor performance. Supervise and check more optimally on the quality of raw materials, storage, and storage procedures. Innovation of mold technology and production machine, and pay attention to cleanliness. Improved SOP/standard operational procedures and checklists. As well as improvements to production place.
