Material merupakan komponen yang sangat penting dalam pembangunan sebuah proyek. Besar kemungkinan terjadi permasalahan di dalamnya, antara lain yaitu terjadi stok material yang kosong dan kadang juga kelebihan stok material. Kelebihan persediaan merupakan suatu pemborosan karena terjadi investasi yang berlebihan, sedangkan kekurangan persediaan dapat menghambat kelancaran pelaksanaan proyek. Oleh karena itu, manajemen material penting sekali dan harus dilaksanakan untuk mencegah terjadinya keterlambatan yang diakibatkan oleh kekurangan bahan dalam pelaksanaan proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa teknik penentuan pemesanan (lot size) yang menghasilkan biaya persediaan paling minimum. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) dengan empat teknik lotsizing yaitu Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Period Order Quantity (POQ), Part Period Balancing (PPB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik lotsizing yang menghasilkan biaya persediaan paling minimum pada teknik Lot For Lot (LFL) yaitu material besi beton D29, pada teknik Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) tidak menghasilkan biaya persediaan paling minimum, pada teknik Period Order Quantity (POQ) yaitu material besi beton D32, dan pada teknik Part Period Balancing (PPB) yaitu material batako, besi beton D10, besi beton D13, besi beton D19, besi beton D22, besi beton D25, besi beton D32, beton 35 MPa, beton 40 MPa.

Abstract

Material is a very important component in the construction of a project. There is a big possibility that there will be problems, such as empty material stock and sometimes excess material stock. Excess inventory is a waste due to excessive investment, while lack of inventory can hamper the smooth implementation of the project. Therefore, material management is very important and must be implemented to prevent delays caused by material shortages in project implementation. This study aims to analyze the ordering technique (lot size) which produces the minimum inventory cost. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with four lotsizing techniques namely Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Period Order Quantity (POQ), Part Period Balancing (PPB). The results showed that the lotsizing technique that produced the minimum inventory cost in the Lot For Lot (LFL) technique, namely concrete iron material D29, in the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) technique did not produce the least inventory costs in the Period Order Quantity (POQ) technique, namely iron material concrete D32, and in the Part Period Balancing (PPB) technique, which are brick material, D10 concrete iron, D13 concrete iron, D19 concrete iron, D22 concrete iron, D25 concrete iron, D32 concrete iron, D32 concrete iron, 35 MPa concrete, 40 MPa concrete.
