Abstract

Water distribution in Kwadungan, Ngawi is still not optimal due to the low water pressure in the pipes at a certain time, physical water loss due to high leaks and customers who are not yet optimal in distributing clean water. To overcome these obstacles, it is necessary to conduct an analysis of the clean water distribution network system. The 10-year planning period is carried out for 2020-2030 by calculating the projected population and public facilities to determine water needs. This study aims to determine the value of major and minor head losses in distribution network pipes. The hydraulic analysis used is the Darcy-Weisbach method and the Hardy Cross method and the application of condition simulation modeling using the Epanet 2.0 software. The results of this study show that the water demand in 2030 is 1.290 for the average daily requirement, 1.419 ltr / s for maximum demand, and 2.013 ltr / s for peak hour needs. The cumulative reservoir capacity is 10,664 m3 / hour in 2020 and 41,932 m3 / hour in 2030. Based on these calculations, a reservoir of 42 m3 of water is needed. Epanet 2.0 simulation results compared to direct measurements in the field is the difference in headloss value is quite high and the flow speed is not up to standard so the distribution network cannot be developed yet.
