PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGGAMBAR DAN MEWARNAI SISWA KELOMPOK B TK ANANDA CERIA GRESIK

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya nilai pembelajaran menggambar dan mewarnai dan strategi pembelajaran kurang sesuai dengan kondisi siswa yang mengakibatkan pembelajaran menjadi membosankan. Peneliti bertujuan menerapkan metode demonstrasi sebagai upaya perbaikan. Metode demonstrasi dianggap sesuai karena dalam pembelajaran guru memberikan ilustrasi sehingga siswa mengetahui proses membuat gambar dan mewarnainya. Rumusan masalah adalah bagaimana metode demonstrasi meningkatkan kemampuan siswa, bagaimana aktivitas pelaksanaan dan hasil penerapannya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Febuari - Maret 2014, obyek penelitian siswa kelompok B, TK Ananda Ceria, Gresik. Menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa pemberian tugas untuk menggambil data kemampuan menggambar dan mewarnai, observasi untuk mengetahui dampak tindakan. wawancara untuk memberikan informasi tentang tindakan. Analisis data berupa pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik presentase melalui tugas dan aktivitas kelas yang terdiri dari aktivitas siswa dan peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan berdasarkan presentase nilai tugas menggambar sebesar 31,25% (siklus tiga 81,25%-siklus satu 50,00%). Peningkatan kemampuan mewarnai sebesar 37,50 % (siklus tiga 75,00%-siklus satu 37,50%). Aktivitas siswa berjalan dengan baik hal ini ditandai presentase nilai pada aspek siswa memperhatikan penjelasan teknik menggambar yang diberikan peneliti sebanyak 81,25% siswa. siswa mampu menerapkan tugas yang diberikan peneliti tanpa bantuan peneliti maupun siswa lainnya sebanyak 75,00% siswa. siswa merespon pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh peneliti tentang tugas menggambar sebanyak 50,00% siswa. siswa tidak mengganggu temannya saat mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan peneliti 81,25% siswa. siswa mengikuti peraturan yang dibuat peneliti sebanyak 75,00% siswa. Aktivitas peneliti siklus ketiga aspek bahasa yang digunakan guru ketika menyampaikan materi pembelajaran kepada siswa mendapat nilai baik. Aspek komunikasi antara guru dan siswa selama pembelajaran berlangsung mendapatkan nilai sangat baik. Aspek usaha guru membantu siswa memecahkan masalah ketika mengerjakan tugasĀ  mendapatkan nilai baik. Aspek guru mampu mengendalikan suasana kelas dalam kegiatan pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai baik.

This research is motivated low value of learning drawing and coloring as well as the instructional strategies that are less appropriate to the conditions that lead to students learning becomes boring. Researchers aim apply the method of demonstration as an improvement efforts. Demonstration method is considered appropriate for the teacher to illustrate learning so that students know the process of making a picture and coloring them. Problem formulation is how to improve the students' demonstration of the method, how the implementation of the activities and results of its application. The experiment was conducted in February - March 2014, the object of research is the students group B, TK Ananda Ceria, Gresik. Using a classroom action research methods. Technique of data collecting for the provision of data took this task to the ability of drawing and coloring, observation to determine the impact of the action. interview to provide information about the action. Analysis of data in the form of data collection using percentage techniques through assignments and class activities which consists of the activities of students and researchers. The results showed no increase in the percentage based on the value of drawing tasks for 31.25% (cycle three whit 81.25% - cycle one whit 50.00%). Increased ability coloring of 37.50% (cycle three whit 75.00% - cycle one whit 37.50%). Student activity goes well it is characterized percentage of the value of the technical aspects of the students' attention to the explanation given researchers draw as much as 81.25% of students. students are able to apply a given task without the help of researchers and investigators of other students as much as 75.00% of students. students respond to the questions provided by the researcher about the task of drawing as much as 50.00% of students. not interfere with his students while working on tasks assigned investigator 81.25% of students. students follow rules made as much as 75.00% student researchers. The third cycle of research activity aspects of the language that teachers use when delivering learning material to the student gets good grades. Aspects of communication between teachers and students during the learning progress getting very good value. Aspects of teachers' efforts to help students solve problems when working on the task of getting good grades. Aspects of the teacher is able to control the atmosphere in the classroom learning activities get better grades.
