PERBEDAAN KEMATANGAN KARIR SISWA DITINJAU DARI JENIS SEKOLAH

perkembangan, diantaranya adalah memilih dan merencanakan karir yang
apabila remaja mampu menyelesaikan tugas tersebut, maka dianggap telah mencapai kematangan karir.
Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kematangan karir, salah satunya adalah jenis sekolah. Jenis
sekolah di Indonesia berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah nomor 29 tahun 1990 yaitu Sekolah Menengah
Umum (SMA) Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dan Sekolah Agama.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui perbedaan kematangan karir siswa ditinjau dari jenis sekolah.Variabel yang dikaji pada
penelitian ini adalah jenis sekolah sebagai variabel bebas yang diketahui melalui identitas data yang diisi
oleh subyek penelitian, dan variabel kematangan karir sebagai variabel terikat yang diungkap dengan
menggunakan Career Maturity Inventory yang telah disusun oleh John O. Crites, Ph.D.yang telah
diadaptasi kedalam bahasa Indonesia oleh Kurniati, Putri, Rahardjo, Muluk dan Rifameutia (2006) dan
digunakan ulang oleh Aquila pada tahun 2012 Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif.
Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling sehingga didapatkan subyek
penelitian yang berjumlah 291 siswa.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis varian satu jalur. Hasil
analisis data menunjukkan nilai koefisien Fishersebesar 9,008 (F = 9,008)dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000
(p = 0,000).Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kematangan karir siswa ditinjau dari
jenis sekolah.

Abstract
Adolescents generally have some developmental tasks. One of his tasks is choosing and planning a
career. If adolescent are able to complete this task, he will reach a career maturity. There are several
factors that can be affect career maturity, one of which is school types.According to government
regulation number 29 of 1990Indonesia have some high school’s types, which are General Senior High
School (SMA), Vocational High School (SMK) and Religion High School. This study aims to determine
the difference of student’s career maturity by school’s types. The variables of this study are school types
as independent variable which is known by subject’s data filledand career maturity as dependent variable
which expressed by career maturity inventory from John O. Crites, Ph.D. that had adapted by Kurniati,
Putri, Rahardjo, Muluk dan Rifameutia (2006) and used by Aquila on 2012.This study used quantitative
research methods. This study used simple random sampling to gain the sample thus obtained amounted to
291 students study’s subjects . The data analysis method used is one way analysis of varians. The result
of data analysis showed that fisher’s coefficient is 9,008 (F = 9,008) with a significance level of 0.000
(p= 0,000) This result indicatedthat there are differences of student’s career maturity by school types.
