Resiliensi Pada Perempuan yang Dipoligami (Studi Kasus)

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran resiliensi pada perempuan yang dipoligami dengan menggali pengalaman hidup partisipan saat dipoligami. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui hal apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi partisipan dapat bertahan dan bangkit dari situasi yang menekan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi besarnya kasus perceraian akibat poligami dan didapatkan fakta bahwa masih terdapat perempuan yang masih menjalani pernikahan poligami. Resiliensi yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah proses yang terjadi pada individu yang mengalami situasi atau keadaan sulit, sehingga mampu untuk bangkit dan melakukan tugas kehidupan secara normal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah istri pertama dari pernikahan poligami yang masih menjalani kehidupan poligami setidaknya selama dua tahun dan satu significant other dari setiap partisipan. Proses pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Penelitian ini berhasil menemukan tiga tema besar. Tema pertama berupa pengalaman saat dipoligami yang terdiri dari, partisipan tidak mengetahui bahwa dipoligami dan saat partisipan mengetahui dipoligami. Tema kedua yaitu dampak dari poligami yang terdiri dampak psikologis dan dampak finansial, dan tema ketiga yaitu hal apa saja yang mempengaruhi kemampuan bertahan partisipan dalam pernikahan poligami yang terdiri dari dukungan sosial, penerimaan diri, faktor I Am, I Have, dan dapat mengukur emosi diri sendiri dan orang lain.

Abstract
This research aims to describe the resilience of polygamist wife by exploring their experience when they become the polygamist wife. This research aims to find the factors that affect the participant to survive and rise up from the stressing situation. This research is based on the numerous numbers of divorces because of the polygamy and the fact that there are women who still become polygamist wife. Resilience is defined as process occurs on individual who are experiencing dificult situation and they are able to rise up and achieving their normal lives. This research is a qualitative research in the form of case study. There are two participant in this research. They are the first wife in the polygamous family who has been living in this polygamous family for at least two years and a significant other from each participant. The data collecting technique used is semi-structured interviews. The data id analyzed using thematical analysis. This research find three themes. The first is the experience of the polygamist wife wich consists of some of them who knew that they were put in polygamy and some did not know. The second was the effect of polygamy which consists of psychological effect and financial effect. The third theme is the factor that affect their survival ability in polygamy marriage which consist of social support, self-acceptance, “I’am” and “I Have” and ability to measure self and other emotion.
