Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the relation between levels of moral reasoning in adolescents with premarital sexual behavior in the boarding house “AD”. The planning of research that is used is correlation. The subject of this research areadolescents who stayed in the boarding house “AD”, there are 30 adolescents and they have already fulfill the criteria. The hypothesis of this research is there is relation between levels of moral reasoning in adolescents with premarital sexual behavior in the boarding house “AD”. It uses analysis technique correlation product moment from Carl Person. The result of this analysis is r=0,615 and p=0,000 (p<0,05) and it is accepted. It shows that there is relation between levels of moral reasoning in adolescents with premarital sexual behavior. So, if the levels of moral reasoning in adolescents is higher, it will decrease premarital sexual behavior. If the levels of moral reasoning in adolescents is lower, it will increase premarital sexual behavior.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat penalaran moral pada remaja dengan perilaku seks pranikah di kost “AD”. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalahremaja yang tinggal di kost “AD” dan telah memenuhi criteria yang sudah ditentukan serta berjumlah 30 orang. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara tingkat penalaran moral pada remaja dengan perilaku seks pranikah di kost “AD”. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis korelasi product moment dari Carl Pearson. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai r sebesar 0,615 dan p=0,000 (p<0,05) sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima. Ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat penalaran moral pada remaja dengan perilaku seks pranikah. Artinya semakin tinggi tingkat penalaran moral pada remaja maka semakin rendah perilaku seks pranikahnya, dan begitu juga sebaliknya. Semakin rendah tingkat penalaran moral pada remaja, maka semakin tinggi perilaku seks pranikahnya.
