HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEPUASAN KERJA DENGAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI PADA MAHASISWA YANG BEKERJA PARUH WAKTU

Abstract
This study is purpose to know the relationship between work satisfication and achievements motivation at students who work part time. This study used correlation. The subject of this study were 30 college students in 2008 generation of Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The hipotesist of this study is there are relationship between work satisfication and achievements motivation at students who work part time. Data obtained in this study is processed by product moment correlation from Carl Pearson. The result of analysis indicate r value = 0,715 and P = 0,000 (p < 0,05), so there are positive correlation between work satisfication and achievements motivation at student who work part time. It means that students with higher work satisfication have higher achievements motivation too. The student with lower work satisfication have lower achievements motivation.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Psikologi angkatan 2008 Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Surabaya, yang berjumlah 30 mahasiswa. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis korelasi product moment dari Carl Pearson. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai r sebesar 0,715 dan p=0,000 (p<0,05) sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima. Ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positifyang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu. Artinya semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi berprestasi, dan begitu juga sebaliknya. Semakin rendah kepuasan kerja, maka semakin rendah motivasi berprestasi.
