PERBEDAAN TINGKAT ONLINE SHOPPING DITINJAU DARI ORIENTASI LOKUS KONTROL PADA MAHASISWI FAKULTAS PSIKOLOGI UNIVERSITAS SURABAYA (UBAYA)

Abstract
The study was aimed at examining the differences of onlineshopping frequency between female students at Psychology Faculty of Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA). The samples in this study were 60 students who obtained student’s population of 300 female students in Faculty of Psychology, University of Surabaya (UBAYA) through purposive sampling technique.Data analysis in this study used a quantitative approach or a statistical formula Chi-Square (X2) test with Yates correction. The results obtained from 32 female students who have an internal locus of control, with 20 female student who has a often frequency of onlineshopping. While those with an external locus of control there are 28 female students, with 25 having a often frequency of onlineshopping. The conclusions obtained that individuals with an external locus of control tend to be oriented more frequent onlineshopping compared to individuals who have an internal locus of control-oriented.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan frekuensi onlineshopping yang ditinjau dari orientasi lokus kontrol pada mahasiswi Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA). Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 60 mahasiswi yang didapatkan dari 300 populasi mahasiswi Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA) melalui teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif atau secara statistik dengan rumus Chi-Square (X2) dengan uji koreksi Yates. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari 32 mahasiswi yang memiliki internal lokus kontrol, dengan 20 mahasiswi yang memiliki frekuensi onlineshopping sering. Sedangkan yang memiliki eksternal lokus kontrol terdapat 28 mahasiswi, dengan 25 yang memiliki frekuensi onlineshopping sering. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh individu dengan lokus kontrol yang berorientasi eksternal cenderung lebih sering melakukan onlineshopping dibandingkan dengan individu yang memiliki lokus kontrol yang berorientasi internal.
