PERBEDAAN KEPUASAN KERJA PADA PETUGAS PENJAGA PERLINTASAN KERETA API DITINJAU DARI SHIFT KERJA DAN FASE PERKEMBANGAN DEWASA

Abstract
This study aims to test the difference in railways crossing officer’s job satisfaction based on work shifts and adult development phases. This is a quantitative research. Data obtained by conducting of 45 railways crossing guards who work in railway on A.Yani street, Surabaya to Gedangan Station, Sidoarjo. There are three diferent shifts, consist of 15 employees in the morning, 15 employees in the afternoon and 15 employees in the evening. Based on the data analysis by using Two Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), the result of significance is 0,801 (p>0,05). Based on the result, we can conclude that hypothesis which said “there are difference in railways crossing officer’s job satisfaction based on work shifts and adult development phases” is rejected, it can be concluded that there are no significance difference in railways crossing officer’s job satisfaction based on work shifts and adult development phases. The second result is 0,066, (p>0,05), we can conclude that hypothesis which said “there are difference in railways crossing officer’s job satisfaction based on work shifts” is rejected, it can be concluded that there are no significance difference in railways crossing officer’s job satisfaction based on work shifts. The third result is 0,563, (p>0,05), we can conclude that hypothesis which said “there are difference in railways crossing officer’s job satisfaction based on adult development phases” is rejected, , it can be concluded that there are no significance difference in railways crossing officer’s job satisfaction based on adult development phases.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbedaan kepuasan kerja pada petugas penjaga perlintasan kereta api ditinjau dari shift kerja dan fase perkembangannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 45 orang petugas penjaga perlintasan kereta api yang bertugas di Jalan A.Yani Surabaya hingga Stasiun Gedangan, Kabupaten Sidoarjo pada tiga shift kerja yang berbeda, yaitu 15 petugas pada shift pagi, 15 petugas pada shift sore, dan 15 petugas pada shift malam. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan dengan uji Analisis Varian Dua Jalur, diketahui signifikansi sebesar 0,801, (p>0,05). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa hipotesis yang mengatakan “Ada perbedaan kepuasan kerja pada petugas penjaga perlintasan kereta api ditinjau dari shift kerja dan fase perkembangan dewasa” ditolak. Dengan demikian tidak ada perbedaan kepuasan kerja yang signifikan ditinjau dari shift kerja dan fase perkembangan dewasa. Begitu pula dengan hasil uji hipotesis kedua sebesar 0,066, (p>0,05), maka hipotesis yang mengatakan “Ada perbedaan kepuasan kerja pada petugas penjaga perlintasan kereta api ditinjau dari shift kerja” ditolak, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan kepuasan kerja yang signifikan pada petugas penjaga perlintasan kereta api ditinjau dari shift kerja. Hipotesis ketiga yang yang menyatakan “Ada perbedaan kepuasan kerja pada petugas penjaga perlintasan kereta api ditinjau dari fase perkembangan dewasa” ditolak karena nilai signifikansinya 0,563, (p>0,05), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak perbedaan kepuasan kerja yang signifikan pada petugas penjaga perlintasan kereta api ditinjau dari fase perkembangan dewasa.
