Hubungan Antara Konformitas Dengan Perilaku Konsumtif

Abstract

This study was to find a relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior on the students grade XI Trimurti Senior High School Surabaya. Type of this research is correlation. Population of this study were all high school students in grade XI Trimurti Surabaya, the samples as many as 50 people. The sampling technique used random sampling technique. The data was collected using two scales, namely: the scale of conformity and the scale of consumptive behavior. The analysis used analytical techniques Product Moment and correlation coefficient of 0.631 obtained with a significance value of 0.00 (p> 0.05) which means there is a positive relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior in adolescents at Trimurti Senior high school with the closeness is a strong correlation

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas dan perilaku konsumtif pada siswa kelas XI SMA Trimurti Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dari penelitian ini merupakan seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Trimurti Surabaya, dengan sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 50 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini mengunakan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua skala, yaitu : skala konformitas dan skala perilaku konsumtif. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Product Moment dan diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,631 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 (p>0,05) yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif antara konformitas dan perilaku konsumtif pada remaja di SMA Trimurti Surabaya dengan keeratan korelasi yang kuat.
