Perbedaan Altruisme Berdasarkan Jenis Kelamin Pada Relawan di Sanggar Alang-Alang Surabaya

Altruisme merupakan perilaku menolong dengan sukarela tanpa mengharapkan imbalan berupa materi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji perbedaan altruisme pada relawan di sanggar alang-alang Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif komparasi dengan menggunakan subjek sebanyak 40 relawan dengan rincian 20 relawan perempuan dan 20 relawan laki-laki di sanggar alang-alang Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala altruisme. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji hipotesis dengan model Rasch menggunakan aplikasi winstep dengan hasil relawan perempuan berada di titik 2,14 dan relawan laki-laki berada dititik 1,59 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan altrusime pada relawan laki-laki dan perempuan di sanggar alang-alang Surabaya.Kata Kunci : Altruisme, Jenis Kelamin, RelawanAltruism is a voluntary helping behavior without expecting rewards in the form of material. The purpose of the research was to examine difference of altruism in volunteers sanggar alang-alang Surabaya. The research used quantitative research method of comparation by using as many as 40 volunteers with 20 female volunteers and 20 male volunteers in sanggar alang-alang Surabaya. Altruism scale is used as research instrument. Technique of data analysis used in the research is the hypothesis test with the Rasch model using winstep application eith the results of female volunteers in point 2,14 and male volunteers at 1,59, which means there is difference of altruism in male and female relavraness in sanggar alang-alang Surabaya.Keywords: Altruism, Gender, Volunteer
