Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa Berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing pada Materi Pemanasan Global untuk Melatihkan Keterampilan Proses Sains di SMA Negeri 1 Kedungwaru

Abstract

Kurang terlatihnya keterampilan proses sains dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan kegiatan laboratorium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan dari LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pemanasan global untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE. Analisis penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains layak digunakan. Kelayakan LKS ditinjau dari seluruh aspek dalam proses penelitian. Kelayakan berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli menunjukkan persentase rata-rata 86% dengan rincian komponen isi 87%, komponen kebahasaan 82%, dan komponen penyajian 87%. Kelayakan bersadarkan uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan RPP mecapai persentase rata-rata 86%, hasil LKS efek rumah kaca maupun LKS pemanasan global menunjukkan bahwa siswa XI-3 MIA berhasil memenuhi hampir seluruh indikator keterampilan proses sains dengan persentase 87% dan 88%. Hasil dari tes keterampilan proses sains siswa menunjukkan ketuntasan klasikal siswa berhasil mencapai 90,2%. Hasil angket respons menunjukkan bahwa siswa merespon positif terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan LKS yang dikembangkan sebesar 98%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

Less trained science process skills in learning activities leads to lower students ability to perform laboratory activities.This study aims to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of guided inquiry based student worksheet on global warming materials to trace the skills of the science process. This development research uses ADDIE research model. The research analysis is done by descriptive quantitative. The result of the research shows that student worksheet based on inquiry is guided to trained the science process skill is feasible to be used. student worksheet feasibility is reviewed from all aspects of the research process. Feasibility based on the validation results by experts shows an average percentage of 86% with the details of the 87% content component, the linguistic component of 82%, and the 87% presentation component. The feasibility of the field experiments showed that the implementation of the RPP achieved an average percentage of 86%, the results of the greenhouse effect student worksheet and the global warming student worksheet showed that XI-3 MIA students managed to meet almost all science process skill indicators with 87% and 88% percentage. The result of the students science skill test showed students classical completeness reached 90.2%. Response questionnaire results showed that students respond positively to learning activities using student worksheet developed by 98%. Thus it can be concluded that the guided inquiry-based student worksheet were developed feasible to be used in learning to trained students science process skills.
