PENGEMBANGAN MODUL MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF MATERI POKOK INSTALASI SISTEM OPERASI CLOSED SOURCE PADA MATA PELAJARAN SISTEM OPERASI KELAS X MULTIMEDIA DI SMK NEGERI 1 CERME GRESIK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul multimedia interaktif materi pokok instalasi sistem operasi closed source yang layak dan efektif untuk menjelaskan cara instalasi sistem operasi closed source yang tepat dan benar dengan panduan modul yang didalamnya terdapat teks penjelasan, gambar, audio, dan video tutorial, sehingga memudahkan siswa untuk memahami dan meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan berdasar langkah – langkah atau prosedur pengembangan Research and Development (R & D) dari Borg and Gall dalam Sugiyono (2013) yang terdiri dari 10 langkah yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk, dan produksi masal. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas X multimedia SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Gresik. Hasil pengembangan divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media untuk selanjutnya dilakukan uji coba. Uji coba tersebut meliputi uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji coba kelompok besar. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument berupa angket untuk uji kelayakan, dan tes untuk uji efektifitas.

Melalui uji kelayakan materi instalasi sistem operasi closed source didapatkan hasil 100% menunjukkan kategori sangat layak. Uji kelayakan media modul multimedia interaktif didapatkan hasil 94,44% menunjukkan kategori sangat layak. Uji coba perorangan didapatkan hasil 93,33% menunjukkan kategori sangat layak, uji coba kelompok kecil didapatkan hasil 94,44% menunjukkan kategori sangat layak, uji coba kelompok besar didapatkan hasil 90,79% menunjukkan kategori sangat layak. Hasil perthitungan data pre-test dan post test, setelah melakukan pembelajaran menggunakan modul multimedia interaktif ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dilihat dari nilai pre test dan post test yang mengalami peningkatan, dibuktikan dari analisis rumus uji T dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil dari penghitungan menunjukan angka 2,045. Maka Thitung lebih besar dari Ttabel yakni 17,71 > 2,045. Hasil tersebut membuktikan Ho ditolak Ha diterima.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengembangan ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian pengembangan modul multimedia interaktif materi pokok instalasi sistem operasi closed source pada mata pelajaran sistem operasi kelas X multimedia di SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Gresik, dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi instalasi sistem operasi closed source.

This study aims to produce interactive multimedia modules for the installation of appropriate and effective closed source operating systems to explain how to install the right and correct closed source operating system with a module guide in which there are explanatory texts, images, audio, and video tutorials, making it easier for students to understand and improve learning outcomes.

This study uses development methods based on the steps or procedures for developing Research and Development (R & D) from Borg and Gall in Sugiyono (2013) which consists of 10 steps namely potential and problems, data collection, product’s design, design’s validation, design’s revision ,trials product, product’s revisions, usage’s trials, product’s revisions, and mass production. The subject of this trial research was the multimedia class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Gresik. The results of the development were validated by material experts and media experts for further testing. The trials included individual trials, small group trials, and large group trials. Data collected using instruments in the form of questionnaires for due diligence, and tests for the tests of the effectiveness.

Through the feasibility test, material of the installation of closed source operating system, 100% results show that the category is very feasible. The feasibility test for the interactive multimedia module media is 94.44% indicating that the category is very feasible. Individual trials obtained results of 93.33% indicating very feasible category, small group trials obtained results 94.44% showed very feasible categories, large group trials obtained results 90.79% showed very feasible categories. The results of the calculation of the data were pre-test and post-test, after learning using the interactive multimedia module proved to be able to improve student learning outcomes. Judging from the value of the pre test and post test which experienced an increase, it was proven from the analysis of the T test formula with a significance level of 5%. The results of the calculation show 2,045. Then T counting is greater than T table which is 17.71> 2.045.

These results prove Ho rejected Ha accepted. Based on the results of this development study, it can be concluded that the research on the development of interactive multimedia modules on the subject matter of closed source operating system installation on class X multimedia at SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Gresik, is declared appropriate to be used as learning media and effective in improving student learning outcomes material for closed source operating system installation.
