PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA BERBASIS PROBLEM SOLVING UNTUK MELATIH KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PADA SUBMATERI REAKSI OKSIDASI REDUKSI (DEVELOPMENT OF WORKSHEET ORIENTED BY PROBLEM SOLVING TO PRACTICE SCIENCE PROCESS SKILL IN THE OXIDATION AND REDUCTION REACTIONS SUBTOPIC)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS berbasis problem solving untuk melatih keterampilan proses sains pada submateri reaksi oksidasi reduksi secara teoritis melalui hasil validasi dan secara empiris melalui respon siswa terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D)yang hanya dilakukan sampai tahap uji coba terbatas.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu lembar validasi dan lembar angket respon siswa.Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS secara teoritis maupun empiris.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKS yang dikembangkan layak secara teoritis maupun empiris. Secara teoritis, LKS memperoleh persentase kelayakan untuk masing-masing kriteria yaitu kriteria isi, kebahasaan, sajian dan kegrafikan berturut-turut sebesar 83,42%,80,56%, 80,74% dan 80,89%. Secara empiris, LKS memperoleh respon positif dengan persentase kelayakan untuk masing-masing kriteria yaitu kriteria isi, kebahasaan, sajian dan kegrafikan  berturut-turut sebesar 91,66%, 100%, 97,22% dan 95,83%.

The study is aimed to know the feasibility of worksheet oriented by problem solving to practice science process skill in the oxidation and reduction subtopic theoritically by validation result and empirically by students’ responses to the worksheet that developed. This study is development research that used Research and Development (R&D) designthat limited to product trial step. The reseacrh instruments are validation sheet and questionnaire responses of students. The data that result from the study are analyzed by descriptive quantitative to know the worksheet feasibility theoritically and empirically. This study result is showed that the worksheet is competent to use not only theoritically but also empirically. Theoritically, the worksheet get feasibility percentage for each criteria, they are content, language, presentation and graph in a series are 83,42%,80,56%, 80,74% dan 80,89%. Empirically, the worksheet get positive with feasibility persentage for each criteria, they are content, language, presentation and graph in a seriess are 91,66%, 100%, 97,22% dan 95,83%.
