KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PADA MATERI KESETIMBANGAN KIMIA SMA NEGERI 12 SURABAYA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL LEARNING CYCLE 7-E (SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS ON CHEMICAL EQUILIBRIUM TOPIC IN SMA NEGERI 12 SURABAYA THROUGH IMPLEMENTATION LEARNING CYCLE 7-E MODEL)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan kelas XI SMAN 12 Surabaya pada materi kesetimbangan kimia melalui penerapan model learning cycle 7-E. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan di kelas XI IPA 4 SMAN 12 Surabaya semester gasal tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah lembar tes keterampilan proses sains serta lembar soal tes hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Hasil belajar keterampilan proses sains sesudah menerapkan model learning cycle 7-E materi kesetimbangan kimia telah mencapai skor ≥ 2,67 dan telah dilatihkan dengan baik yang dibuktikan dengan skor rata-rata untuk komponen menyusun hipotesis, merencanakan investigasi, memproses data, dan menganalisis investigasi secara berturut-turut dengan skala sebesar 3,21; 3,25; 3,43; 3,29 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80,56%. 2) Hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan sesudah menerapkan model learning cycle 7-E materi kesetimbangan kimia telah mencapai skor ketuntasan yang diharapkan yaitu ≥ 2,67 yang ditunjukkan dengan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif sebesar 2,92 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 91,67%.

The purpose of this research is to figure out science process skills on 11th grade student of SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya on chemical equilibrium through implementation of learning cycle 7-E model. The research is descriptive quantitative with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Implementation of this research was experimenting in 11th grade science 4 class SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya. Instruments that used are science process skills test and learning outcome test for knowledge. The results of research prove that: 1) Learning outcome for science process skills after implement learning cycle 7-E model on chemical equilibrium reached score ≥ 2,67 and has trained well as evidenced by the average score for formulating hypothesis, designing investigation, and analyzing the investigation which has each score 3,08; 3,19; 3,17; 3,22 with classical completeness 80,56%. 2) Learning outcome for knowledge after implement learning cycle 7-E model on chemical equilibrium has been reach completeness score that is 2,67 which proven with average score of student knowledge 2,92 and with classical completeness 91,67%.
