PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA INTERAKTIF BERBASIS KOMPUTER PADA POKOK BAHASAN GEOMETRI MOLEKUL DI KELAS XI IPA SMAN 1 SIDOARJO (DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTER-BASED INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA ON MOLECULAR GEOMETRI SUBJECT IN CLASS XI IPA SMAN 1 SIDOARJO)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media interaktif pada pokok bahasan Geometri Molekul. Kelayakan media interaktif ditinjau dari penilaian oleh guru kimia dan dosen kimia terhadap kualitas isi dan tujuan, kualitas instruksional, kualitas teknis dan kebahasaan serta respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan yang diperkuat dengan pengamatan aktifitas siswa. Telaah terhadap media interaktif yang dikembangakan dilakukan oleh dua orang dosen kimia ahli materi, satu orang dosen ahli bahasa, satu orang dosen ahli media, dan satu guru ahli materi. Penilaian media interaktif dilakukan oleh satu orang dosen kimia dan dua orang guru kimia. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada lima belas siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Sidoarjo.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif yang dikembangkan telah layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran memenuhi kelayakan berdasarkan rata-rata hasil validasi dari ketiga validator terhadap setiap kriteria yang meliputi kualitas isi dan tujuan, kualitas instruksional, kualitas teknis, dan kebahasaaan dengan persentase masing-masing kriteria berturut-turut sebesar 95,63%; 92,59%; 96,00% dan 95,00%. Selain itu hasil respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan mendapat respon yang positif, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan persentase rata-rata hasil angket respon siswa sebesar 97,72%.

This research conducted to know the feasibility of interactive learning media of Molecular Geometry subject. Feasibility of interactive media in terms of assessment by teachers of chemistry and chemistry professors to quality of the content and objectives, instructional quality, technical quality and linguistic as well as students' response to interactive instructional media developed, strengthened by the observation of student activity. The study of interactive media which is developed by two chemical lecturers of materials experts, one lecturer of language expert, one lecturer of media expert, and one teacher of materials expert. Interactive media assessment conducted by one chemistry lecturer and two chemistry teachers. Limited testing performed on fifteen class XI student at SMAN 1 Sidoarjo. The results showed that the developed interactive media has been fit for use in the learning process to meet eligibility based on the average results of three validation validator against each criteria, including quality of the content and objectives, instructional quality, technical quality, and the quality of the language with the percentage of each criterion respectively for 95.63%, 92.59%, 96.00% and 95.00%. In addition, the results of student responses indicate that the developed interactive learning media received a positive response, as shown by the average percentage of student responses in the focus groups was 97.72%.
