PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA (LKS) BERBASIS INKUIRI TERBIMBING UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PADA MATERI REDOKS KELAS X SMA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan, mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa, melatihkan keterampilan proses sains, dan mendeskripsikan respon siswa. LKS berorientasi inkuiri terbimbing merupakan LKS yang disusun berdasarkan fase-fase model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk melatihkan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah pengembangan dengan metode Research and Development (R&D). Instrument penelitian terdiri atas lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar tes pemahaman konsep, lembar tes keterampilan proses sains, lembar angket respon siswa, dan lembar observasi siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui kelaykan LKS secara teoritis maupun empiris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKS yang dikembangkan layak secara teoritis maupun empiris. Secara teoritis, LKSmemperoleh presentase kelayakan untuk masing-masing kriteria yaitu kriteria isi, sajian dan kebahasaan berturut-turut sebesar 90,96%; 85,39%; dan 93,74%. Secara empiris, LKS memperoleh respon positif dengan presentase sebesar 92,08%. Keterampilan proses sains siwa meningkat ditinjau dari ketuntasan klasikal saat pre-test sebesar 8,3% meningkat menjadi  83,33%  saat post-test

Abstract

This aim of this study are to describe the feasibility of student activity sheet that has been developed, to describe the student learning outcomes, to practice the science process skills and to describe the student responses. Guided inquiry-oriented student activity sheet is a student activity sheet based on the phases of Guided Inquiry teaching models to practice student’s science process skills. The criteria of feasibility consist of content, presentation, and linguistic. The type of this study is development with Research and Development (R&D) method. The instruments of this study consist of study sheet, validation sheet, understanding-of-concepts-test sheet, science-process-skills-test sheet, student-questionmaire-responses sheet, and student-observation-sheet. The data that result from the study are analyzed by descriptive quantitative to know the worksheet feasibility theoretically and empirically. This study result is showed that the worksheet is competent to use not only theoretically but also empirically. Theorotocally, the work sheet get feasibility percentage for each criteria, they are content, presentation, and language. Empirically, the worksheet get positive with feasibility percentage are 92,08%. Science process skills of students increase in term of classical completeness as a pre-test 8,3% increase to 83,33% at post-test.
