Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kelayakan media audio-visual sel volta dan sel elektrolisis yang dikembangkan serta mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan sebatas uji kelayakan merujuk pada desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang dipadukan dengan model perencanaan pembuatan media ASSURE. Validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan guru kimia melalui angket penilaian media. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 3 Surabaya melalui angket respon siswa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media audio-visual sel volta dan sel elektrolisis layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran materi elektrokimia redoks karena telah memenuhi kelayakan teoritis yaitu validasi substansi/isi, kebahasaan dan penyajian media. Media juga telah memenuhi kelayakan empiris yaitu respon siswa yang positif dan sangat kuat terhadap media yang ditampilkan.

This research aims to determine the feasibility of visual-auditory media voltaic cells and electrolysis cells that was developed and determine students' response to the media. This research was kind of limited development feasibility test refers to the research design Research and Development (R&D), combined with ASSURE media production planning model. Validation by expert media, material expert and chemistry teachers through assessment questionnaires media. Limited testing done in class XII students of SMA Negeri 3 Surabaya through student questionnaire responses. Results show that the media has fulfilled the feasibility of theoretical validation of substance/content, language and presentation media is considered feasible. The media also has to meet the empirical feasibility of student responses were positive and very strong against the media are displayed. It can be concluded that the audio-visual media voltaic cells and electrolysis cells is feasible to use as a instructional media materials electrochemical redox.
