HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN DENGAN TINGKAT PARTISIPASI MASYARAKATKOTA BLITAR DALAM PILKADA TAHUN 2015

Abstract

Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan tingkat
partisipasi masyarakat Kecamatan Sukorejo dalam pemilihan kepala daerah kota Blitar tahun 2015. Penelitian
menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kecamatan
Sukorejo Kota Blitar yang dilihat dari jenjang pendidikannya dan terdaftar sebagai pemilih pada pemilukada
tahun 2015 yaitu berjumlah 37.039 orang, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil 1% dari populasi yang
ada berjumlah 370 orang dibagi dalam tiga jenjang pendidikan, diantaranya adalah SMP ke Bawah dengan
sampel 205 responden, SMA 110 responden, dan Perguruan Tinggi dengan sampel 55 responden. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data perhitungan Kruskal
Wallis diperoleh signifikansi sebesar 0,00 dengan taraf kesalahan 0,05, dimana 0,00 ≤ 0,05 berarti Ho ditolak
dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan ada hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan tingkat partisipasi
masyarakat kota Blitar dalam pilkada tahun 2015 yang dibuktikan dengan hasil perolehan pada jenjang
pendidikan SMP ke bawah ada yang mendapatkan kategori rendah dan pada jenjang SMA/Sederajat tidak ada
yang mendapatkan kategori Rendah, sedangkan Perguruan Tinggi tidak ada yang mendapatkan kategori Rendah
dan Sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat pendidikan masyarakat maka semakin tinggi
juga partisipasinya.

Abstract
The research was carried out because of researchers want to know if there are the relationship between the level
of education with a public participation in sukorejo in local election Blitar city in 2015. The research uses
descriptive quantitative methods. The population of the research in the Sukorejo Blitar city viewed from
education level and registered as voters in 2015 the general election year were 37.039 people, while included in
this study taken 1 % of the population is were 370 the divided into three education, including junior down with
205 respondents sample, 110 respondents high school, and college with 55 respondents sample. This research
using data collection method of the survey. According to the analysis of data calculation kruskal wallis obtained
significance of 0,00 with standard 0,05 mistake, where 0,00 ≤ 0,05 means ho turned down and ha accepted . This
shows there was a correlation between the level of education with their level of participation blitar city in the
election the year 2015 as evidenced by revenue at the level of junior high school down there are those who get
the category of low and high school at the level or the equivalent level there is no one to get low category , while
college there is no one to get low category and was. This indicates that the higher the level of public education
the higher also her active participation .
