PENGETAHUAN DEMOKRASI DAN PERILAKU MEMILIH KEPALA DESA DI DESA MANDIREJO KECAMATAN MERAKURAK KABUPATEN TUBAN

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara yang menganut sistem demokrasi. Di dalam negera yang menganut sistem demokrasi, setiap orang memiliki hak yang sama. Salah satu contoh dari proses demokrasi adalah adanya kegiatan pemilihan umum. Adanya pemilihan kepala desa di desa Mandirejo yang mana pada waktu terjadi suatu masalah, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengetahuan demokrasi dan perilaku memilih kepala desa di desa Mandirejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskrisptif kuantitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang telah berumur 17 atau yang sudah menikah dengan kriteria lulus sekolah menengah pertama, lulus sekolah menengah atas, dan sarjana. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode random sampling untuk menentukan informan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan angket kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan demokrasi dan perilaku memilih kepala desa di desa Mandirejo bahwa semakin tinggi pengetahuan demokrasi seseorang maka semakin baik perilaku memilihnya.

Indonesia is a country that adheres to a democratic system. In a country that adheres to a democratic system, everyone has the same rights. One example of the democratic process is the existence of general election activities. With the election of a village head in the village of Mandirejo where a problem occurred, the purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of democracy and the behavior of choosing a village head in the village of Mandirejo. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The sample of this study was people who were 17 or married with the criteria for junior high school graduation, high school graduation, and bachelor. The data collection technique uses a random sampling method to determine the informant. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is using the product moment correlation formula. Based on the research results obtained data that there is a relationship between knowledge of democracy and behavior of choosing village heads in the village of Mandirejo that the higher the knowledge of ones democracy, the better the behavior of choosing it.
