HUBUNGAN PELAKSANAAN KURSUS PENDIDIK PAUD STAR 300 DENGAN KOMPETENSI PENDIDIK PAUD DI UPT SKB CERME KABUPATEN GRESIK

Untuk mencapai pendidikan anak usia dini yang optimal maka pendidik PAUD harus mereka yang berkompeten. Menurut Data UPT SKB Gresik tahun 2010 banyak pendidik PAUD yang belum berkompeten, 1033 orang pendidik PAUD terdiri dari <SMA = 19 orang dan SMA=339 orang. Sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualifikasi akademik dan kompetensi dari pengasuh PAUD ke guru pendamping maka, Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Non formal, dan Informal Regional II Surabaya mengembangkan sebuah model yaitu, “Kursus Pendidik PAUD STAR 300”. Salah satu pelaksana program ini adalah UPT SKB Gresik. Untuk mengetahui apakah kursus pendidik PAUD STAR 300 berhasil atau tidak, maka peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan  judul ”Hubungan Pelaksanaan Kursus Pendidik PAUD STAR 300 Dengan Kompetensi Pendidik Paud di UPT SKB Cerme Kabupaten Gresik”.  Penelitian ini menjawab tiga rumusan masalah, yaitu : (1) Bagaimanakah pelaksanaan Kursus Pendidik PAUD STAR 300?, (2) Bagaimana kompetensi pendidik PAUD setelah mengikuti Kursus Pendidik PAUD STAR 300?, (3) Apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pelaksanaan Kursus Pendidik PAUD STAR dengan kompetensi pendidik PAUD di UPT SKB Cerme Kabupaten Gresik?

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian ex  post  facto kausal komatif dengan desain penelitian korelasi product moment. penelitian dilaksanakan di UPT SKB Cerme Kabupaten Gresik. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan pada 25 Maret – 25 April 2014. Subjek penelitian peserta Kursus Pendidik PAUD STAR 300 di UPT SKB Cerme Kabupaten Gresik. Penggumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode (1) Observasi (2) Dokumentasi (3) Angket. Teknis analisis data dilakukan dengan cara korelasi product moment dan simpulan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pelaksanaan Kursus Pendidik PAUD STAR 300 sudah berjalan dengan baik dengan nilai rata-rata responden 82.8. (2) Kompetensi pendidik PAUD setelah mengikuti Kursus Pendidik PAUD STAR 300 sudah baik  dengan nilai rata-rata responden 83.1 (3) Hasil penghitungan SPSS sebesar 0.504, nilai r-hitung lebih besar dari r-tabel signifikasi 5%, (0.504 > 0.334) sehingga hipotesis Ha diterima, yaitu ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pelaksanaan kursus pendidik PAUD STAR 300 dengan kompetensi pendidik PAUD di UPT SKB Cerme Kabupaten Gersik. Dapat disimpulkan semakin baik pelaksanaan kursus pendidik PAUD STAR 300, maka semakin baik kompetensi pendidik PAUD di UPT SKB Cerme Kabupaten Gresik.

Abstract

To achieve optimal early childhood education, the PAUD educators  should be competent. According to the data of  UPT SKB Cerme many educators are not yet competent,  1033 PAUD educators consist of < sma  = 19 people and SMA = 339 people. In an effort to improve the academic qualification and competence of caregivers PAUD teacher to escort then, BPPAUDNI, Non-formal, and Informal Regional II Surabaya developed a model that is, "STAR 300 PAUD EDUCATORS COURSE". One of executors of this program is UPT SKB Cerme. To know whether the STAR 300  PAUD EDUCATORS COURSE is successful, the researchers conducted a study entitle "THE RELATIONSHIP OF STAR 300 PAUD EDUCATORS COURSE IMPLEMENTATION WITH THE COMPETENCE OF PAUD EDUCATORS IN UPT SKB CERME DISTRICT GRESIK". The study answered three research questions, namely: (1) how does the STAR 300 PAUD educators course implementation?, (2) How the competence of PAUD educators after joinning STAR 300 PAUD educators course?, (3) is there a significant relationship between STAR 300 PAUD educators course implementation with the competence of PAUD educators in UPT SKB Cerme District Gresik?   

It is ex post facto research comparative causal white product moment correlation research design. the research was carried out in the UPT SKB Cerme District Gresik. Data retrieval is implemented on 25 March – 25 April 2014. The Subjects research  are participants of STAR 300 PAUD educators in UPT SKB Cerme District Gresik. To collect data in this study, researcher used (1) Observation (2) Documentation (3) questioner. Data Analysis Technique is conducted by product moment correlation and summary.

The results show that (1) the STAR 300 PAUD educators course implementation is already well underway, with the average value of the respondent's 82.8. (2) the competence of PAUD educators after joining STAR 300 is good with the average value of the respondent's 83.1. (3) results of the counting of the SPSS are 0.504, r-count value greater than r-table, 5% significance (0.504 > 0.334) so that the Ha hypothesis is accepted, that there is significant relationship between STAR 300 PAUD educators course implementation with the competence of PAUD educators in UPT SKB Cerme District Gresik. It can be inferred, The batter the STAR 300 PAUD educators course implementation, then better competence PAUD educator in UPT SKB Cerme District Gresik
