Focus and Scope

J+PLUS is a peer-reviewed scientific journal focusing on the publication of high-quality research articles in the field of Nonformal Education and related disciplines. The journal is open to lecturers, researchers, practitioners, and students from various institutions in Indonesia and abroad, and aims to serve as an academic platform for promoting, sharing, and discussing original findings and the latest developments in various aspects of Nonformal Education.

Relevant topics for publication include, but are not limited to:

• Strategies, methods, and learning models in Nonformal Education
• Learning technology and media for Nonformal Education
• Community-based training and skills development
• Innovation in community education and lifelong learning
• Vocational education and job training
• Community empowerment programs through education
• Policy and management of Nonformal Education
• Studies on the implementation and evaluation of Nonformal Education across various regions, with an emphasis on theoretical contribution and generalizable implications

J+PLUS accepts original research manuscripts (quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, and R&D) and scholarly review articles (systematic/critical reviews) that meet the criteria of originality, novelty, analytical rigor, and significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the field of Nonformal Education. Manuscripts that are purely descriptive without a clear theoretical framework, or that merely report activities without scientific findings and analysis, fall outside the scope of this journal.
