Abstract

STUDI KASUS PELAKSANAAN DIKLAT KETERAMPILAN MENJAHIT SEBAGAI BENTUK BIMBINGAN SOSIAL DALAM RANGKA REHABILITASI BAGI KLIEN DI PELAYANAN SOSIAL UPT PSRT KOTA BLITAR

Remaja putus sekolah merupakan permasalahan sosial klasik yang dihadapi bangsa Indonesia. Adapun upaya pemerintah dalam menangani permasalahan remaja putus sekolah tersebut dengan memberikan tempat seperti lembaga pelayanan sosial untuk mendapatkan pelayanan sosial yang menyediakan bimbingan sosial dan pelatihan sehingga diharapkan nantinya remaja putus sekolah dapat hidup normatif dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan deskripsi mengenai (1) proses bimbingan sosial, (2) Pelaksanaan Diklat Keterampilan Menjahit, (3) hubungan bimbingan sosial dan diklat keterampilan menjahit dalam rangka, (4) manfaat bimbingan sosial dan diklat keterampilan menjahit dalam rangka rehabilitasi.

Peneliti memilih jenis penelitian kualitatif. Tempat penelitian ini berada di Pelayanan Sosial UPT PSRT Kota Blitar. Informasi kunci penelitian ini adalah: (1) Pekerja Sosial, (2) Instruktur Keterampilan, dan juga (3) Klien Remaja. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan langkah reduksi data, display data, serta verifikasi dan simpulan. Setelah itu diuji nilai kebenarannya dengan kredibilitas, dependabilitas, konfirmabilitas dan transfermabilitas.

Hasil penelitian ini antara lain: Pertama kegiatan bimbingan sosial dilaksanakan secara 24 jam dan juga memenuhi semua kebutuhan klien baik jasmani dan rohani, seperti kebutuhan pokok, dan kebutuhan pendidikan. Kedua, pelaksanan diklat keterampilan menjahit dilaksanakan saat klien berada di lembaga tapi juga disaat klien sudah menjadi alumni. Ketiga, hubungan yang terjadi antara bimbinga sosial dan diklat keterampilan menjahit adalah sebagai media pembentukan mental dan sikap klien terhadap lingkungannya, dan yang keempat, manfaat yang yang didapat dari bimbingan sosial dan diklat keterampilan menjahit adalah perubahan sikap dan mental klien yang menjadi disiplin dan lebih sopan.

THE STUDY CASE OF SEWING SKILL TRAINING IMPLEMENTATIONAS A SOCIAL GUIDANCE FORM TOWARD REHABILITATION FOR CLIENT AT UPT PSRT BLITAR CITY SOCIAL SERVICE

Drop-out teenager is a classic social problem which faced by Indonesian that still has not solved until today. In daily lives, unemployment teenager has various problems, such as economy, social-culture, environment and law. Government’s efforts to solved drop-out teenager problem by giving place such as social service institution to obtained social service that offered social guidance and training that expected later they can live normatively in community.

This research aim to obtained description concerning: 1) the implementation of social guidance at UPT PSRT Blitar City social service , 2) the implementation of sewing skill training to client t UPT PSRT Blitar City social service , 3) the relation of social guidance and sewing skill training toward rehabilitation for client at UPT PSRT Blitar City social service , 4) the benefit of social guidance and sewing skill training as rehabilitation to client at UPT PSRT Blitar City social service .

This research selected qualitative research with qualitative approach. Research location was UPT PSRT Blitar City social service. Key information in this research were: 1) social worker, 2) skill instructor, and obtained from 3) teenager client. Data collecting in this research applied interview, observation, and documentation. Collected data analyzed by steps data reduction, data display, as well as verification and conclusion. Later it will tested truth value through credibility, dependability, conformability and transferability.

Research result obtained four conclusions. First, social guidance conducted for 24 hours and also full filed all clients need both physically and mentally such as basic needs, and education need. Second, the implementation of sewing skill training conducted during client on institution as well as when they become alumnus. Third, the relation between social training and sewing training was as a mental forming media and client attitude to its environment. And fourth, benefit that obtained from social guidance and sewing skill training was behavior change and client’s mental who become more discipline and well mannered.
