Lembaga kursus dan pelatihan merupakan bagian dari jalur pendidikan non formal yang bertujuan untuk melayani masyarakat. Peran LKP dalam pemenuhan pendidikan sangatlah penting, hal ini menyangkut kepada kecakapan vokasional dan non vokasional masyarakat. Rumusan masalahnya yaitu : (1) Bagaimana peran lembaga kursus dan pelatihan Surabaya Hotel School dalam meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja masuk ke industri perhotelan bidang housekeeping di luar negeri; (2) Apa saja faktor pendukung lembaga kursus dan pelatihan Surabaya Hotel School dalam meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja masuk ke industri perhotelan bidang housekeeping di luar negeri; (3) Apa saja faktor penghambat lembaga kursus dan pelatihan Surabaya Hotel School dalam meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja masuk ke industri perhotelan bidang housekeeping di luar negeri.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdiri dari pengelola, instruktur dan peserta didik. Menggunakan metode pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data display data,verifikasi data dan simpulan. Pada uji keabsahan data yaitu kredibilitas, transferbilitas, dependabiilitas dan konfirmabilitas.

Hasil dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut Peran LKP SHS berjalan dengan baik dan efektif terbukti peserta didik telah mengalami perubahan sikap, kepribadian, pengetahuan, keterampilan dan pengetahuan dibidang housekeeping dan langsung penempatan kerja ke luar negeri. Faktor penghambat yang dialami yaitu terkait pengarsipan data base alumni SHS dan izin orang tua. Faktor pendukung yang ada di SHS yaitu jaringan mitra luas, sarana dan prasarana standart uji kompetensi dan sertifikasi profesi perhotelan, lembaga sebagai tempat uji kompetensi dan uji sertifikasi profesi pegawai perhotelan, metode pembelajaran 30% teori, 70% praktek, instruktur para praktisi aktif di dunia perhotelan, kurikulum, silabus, RPP dan bahan ajar selalu update mengikuti perkembangan industri perhotelan, tersedianya layanan pusat informasi lowongan kerja dan rekruitment ditempat.

Role of Training and Courses Of Surabaya Hotel School in Intcreasing Labor Absorption Go to The Overseas Hospitality Housekeeping Sector Industry.

Institutions and training courses are part of the path non-formal education that aims to serve the community. LKP role in the fulfillment of education is important, it concerns the non-vocational and vocational skills society. The formulation of the problem, namely : (1) How is the role of institutions and training couses Surabaya Hotel School to promote employment entry into the field of housekeeping in the hospitality industry abroad; (2) What are the factors supporting courses and training institutes Surabaya Hotel School to promote employment entry into the field of housekeeping in the hospitality industry abroad; (3) Any obstacle courses and training institutes Surabaya Hotel School to promote employment entry into the field of housekeeping in the hospitality industry abroad.

This study used a qualitative approach. Informantas in this study was comprised of managers, instructors and learners. Using the method of data collection interviews, observation and documentasion. Data analysis using data reduction display of data, verification data and conclusions. In the test validity of the data that is credibility, transferability, dependabilitas and confirmability.

The results of the study can be summarized as follows Role ofLPK SHS going well and proved effective learners have experienced a change in attitude, personality, knowleadge, skills and knowleadge in the field of housekeeping and direct job placement abroad. Factors inhibiting experienced was related to archiving data base of alumni SHS and parental permission. Factors supporting the existing SHS ie partner network wide, facilities and infrastructure standard of competency testing and certification of professional hospitality, the institution as a competency test and certification testing profession employee hospitality, teaching methods 30% theory, 70% practice, instructor practitioners active in the world hospitality, curriculum, syllabus, lesson plans and teaching materials are always updated following the development of the hospitality industry, the availability of job information center services and recruitment in place.
