ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of the use of powerpoint learning media on learning motivation in class X students of the Light Vehicle Engineering program of SMKN 1 DRIYOREJO.  The data analysis technique used is an instrument test consisting of validity and reliability tests, as well as hypothesis testing consisting of simple linear regression analysis, and t-test with the help of SPSS 25 for windows. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, it is obtained a simple linear regression equation model Y=28.167+0.461X, which means that the use of powerpoint learning media has a positive effect on student learning motivation, where each addition of 1 value of using powerpoint learning media, then the value of student learning motivation increased by 0.461. From the results of the product moment correlation analysis (r), the value of r = 0.579 which is in the interval 0.40-0.599 has a moderate relationship between the use of powerpoint learning media on students' learning motivation. From the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), the value of R2 = 33.5%, which means that the use of PowerPoint learning media contributes to students' learning motivation by 33.5 percent while the remaining 66.5 percent is influenced by other factors. While the results of the t-test analysis obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that the use of powerpoint learning media has a significant effect on students' learning motivation, thus the hypothesis is accepted.
