THE INFLUENCE OF BOOK CREATOR LEARNING MEDIA ON STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES OF LIGHT VEHICLE ENGINEERING SKILLS COMPETENCE AT SMKN 1 JABON

Abstract

The learning process requires supporting facilities in the form of media and interesting learning models to support successful learning, namely good learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the Book Creator learning media on student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. The type of research used is pre-experimental research with a One Group Pretest Posttest design. The sample used was 60 students in class XI TKR 1 and 2. Data analysis takes the form of item analysis, analysis requirements test, T-Test using Paired Sample T Test, and N-Gain Test. The T-Test test with the Paired Sample T-Test model gets Sig results. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that the use of Book Creator learning media influences student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. The Book Creator learning media influences learning outcomes because it has an attractive cover, presents the material with clear images and learning videos that are appropriate to the material so that XI TKR students at SMKN 1 Jabon can better understand the Air Conditioning system material and have an impact on learning outcomes.
